800 Cyclist Ride To Promote Pattaya Tourism Crisis

Over 800 cyclists cycled around Pattaya to promote tourism. The cycling event was a fund raising event for local charities.

According to the Pattaya press association cooperated with Designated area for sustainable tourisam administration, (Public Organization ) or DASTA , held ” Pattaya Tourism Crisis Cycling Tournament” to open a new tourist routes for cycling enthusiasts , funding to support charities in Pattaya, Banglamoong, and as part of the annual National Journalism Week 2014, or Journalist Day on March 5th of every year.

PATTAYA – March 2nd , 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at the hall of tambon Pong municipality, Banglamoong, CHonburi, Mr.Ittipol Khunpluem, Pattaya mayor, Mr.Parames Ngampichet, former Chonburi region 7, member of house of parliament, Palangchon party, Mr.Taweewong Wichaidit, manager of special area of Pattaya and related area, Mr.Amporn Sangkaeo, the president of press association of Pattaya, joined the presidents of the ceremony, and opened the ceremony of “ Pattaya Tourism Crisis Cycling Tournament” there were more than 800 cyclists from all over the country.

The competition was divided into VIP, 10km , and a common 46 km started at 09.00 am following the path around Maprachan reservoir and there were rest points to play games and the winner of the games would get gifts from Numchai bike Nakleau, who were one of the supporters of the cycling tournament.

Mr. Umporn said it was very successful and there were a lot of competitors who rode very vigorously even though it was just the first year. However, after March 5th, 2014 on journalist day the association will give the money to the local charities in Pattaya, and Banglamung and nearby area.
