5 Teens Arrested Carrying Firearms And Drugs

Banglamung Police have arrested a gang of five youths who were carrying 5 guns and some drugs. The confessed to police they were carrying the guns to be cool.

PATTAYA – February 4,2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol.Col. Suppathee Bunkrong, vice director of Chonburi provincial police, Pol.Col.Thammanoon Mankong, director of Banglamung police station, Pol.Lt.Col.Thanseth Prachachaisee, vice director of detective division, with detective officers altogether announced the arrest of 5 teens from Nongplalai region, which consisted Mr.A, 18 years old, B, 18 years old, C, 18 years old, D,18 years old, and X 16 years old, (all of them concealed under aliases) , they had 5 guns, 5 bullets, and 9 bags of crystal meth, total 5.4 grams in their possession.

Pol Col Supathee said that that the police officers of Banglamung Chonburi mobilized officers to clear crimes in the area of Nongplalai where gangs hang out. The police sent a secret agent to purchase drugs from Mr.A by making an appointments at Mac Donald , Muangjamlong granch, moo 6, Nakluea, Banglamoong, then Mr.A delivered the drug to the secret agent where the police ambushed him and arrested the rest of his gang. They confessed that the guns didn’t have a license because they bought them from Mr.Jo (did not know the real name) for 5,000-9,000 baht each, the crystal meth they brought from Mr.Mad (did not know the real name either) for 2,500 baht per gram to distribute for 500 baht per bag.

After preliminary investigation, the police officer charged them with a Class 1 drug (methamphetamine ), possession for sale and distribution illegally, and possession of firearms and ammunition without permission.
