4 Rooms in Condo Block Burgled in Central Pattaya

A gang of burglars broke into a condominium block on Pattaya Klang and burgled 4 rooms. They stole around 5 million THB of gold and belongings.

PATTAYA – June 11, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.30 am. Plo.Lt.Anocha Nantachai-inspector of Pattaya police station-was notified that there had been a robbery in Grandview condominium in Pattaya Klang. The police immediately rushed to the scene and they found that 4 rooms had been burgled.

 

Upon questioning Mrs Pimlapus Kaewmesri aged 45 one of the room owners revealed that before the incident she and her 62 year old foreign husband went to a bar in Soi Buakaw, Pattaya Klang and when they returned home they had been burgled. The burglers had taken diamond rings, diamond pendants, earrings, 25 gold baht gold bar, gold ornaments and 10 amulets valued about 5 million baht.

Also the room next door had also been burgled. The police didn’t know what had been taken because the owner was out. Plus there were 2 more rooms which had been burgled so the police took photos for evidence.

 

Pol.Lt.Anocha revealed that they expect it to be a 2 man gang who burgled the rooms and they onlt broke into the rooms on the same side. However the police had already sent a team to hunt for the burglars and also collected the CCTV footage. They also contacted gold shops in the area to keep an eye out for the burglars and if they find anyone acting suspiciously they are to contact the police immediately.
