3 Checkpoints found a middle aged woman with a gun

Superintendent of Pattaya police, with his teams, set up 3 checkpoints during the weekend, found a middle aged woman with a firearm, teenagers with ya-ice, ganja and others under the influence of drugs.

Pattaya, November 26, 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m. Pol. Col. Nuntavuth Suwanlaorng, Superintendent of Pattaya police station, Chonburi province brought police teams and volunteer police to set up 3 checkpoints to check for illegal possession at north Pattaya, central Pattaya and south Pattaya. Many Pattaya & upcountry teenagers come to Pattaya during the weekend and Police need to check for the movement of drugs and prohibited weapons to avoid trouble in the Pattaya area by inspecting people and vehicles, both cars and motorbikes, and make random checks of urine samples of suspicious teenagers.

Within 2 hours of operation, in north Pattaya, Mrs. Fang Yimyam age 40 address 141/76 Moo 6 Tambon Na Kleu, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province was found with an automatic Colt Defender 45 mm. with 7 bullets in the magazine, the gun was inside a white Honda Accord, license number KOR OR-247 which the defendant was driving.

At the checkpoint in central Pattaya, Police arrested a teenager with ya-ice, Mr. Nitipan Chalooddong age 21 address 99/140 Tambon Bangchan, Amphur Klongsamwa, Bangkok had ya-ice in a clear plastic bag, weight 0.5 g, and was driving a bronze Honda Civic, license number SOR THOR-2577 Bangkok with friends, the defendant confessed that he bought from a friend in Bangkok in order to consume. At the checkpoint in south Pattaya Police arrested another defendant with ganja and other teenagers that were found to be tested positive for drugs
