2 Pattaya Teenagers Shoot and Injured

Two Pattaya teenagers that went to collect one of their girlfriends were followed and shot at by two other unknown teenagers. The incident was a shock to them as they told police they don’t have any problems with other people.

PATTAYA – November 2, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 6.30 a.m., Pol.Capt. Somchai Chaikhanakul (Deputy Superintender of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was notified that there was a shooting in Soi Phothisarn 6 so he rushed to inspect at scene together with forces of the detective police team.

 

When they arrived at the emergency room the police found Mr. Veerayuth Chuenkhaek, aged 19, who had been shot in left forefinger and Mr. Sirawi Boonsa-mer, aged 19, who had been t grazed by a gun shot. Upon questioning Mr. Veerayuth, he said that after he and his friend went out from one pub in on Pattaya third road and then stopped at a restaurant to eat boiled rice. He then went with his friend on their motorbike to Soi Photisarn to pick up his girlfriend. After collecting his girlfriend when they reacted the beginning of Soi Photisarn 4 there were 2 male teenagers who were riding an orange Honda Wave 125 motorbike who then followed them and shot at them 3 times and when they arrived at the beginning of Soi Photisarn 6 the shooters fled in the direction of the Sukhumvit road. Then Mr. Veerayuth and his friend went to Banglamung hospital for treatment. They told police that they were very confused about the shooting because they don’t have any problems with anyone.

However, the police will inspect the CCTVs in the vicinity in order to find clues to the identity of the shooters so they can be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
