2 Men Shot By 60-year-old Bungalow Owner

60-year-old bungalow owner shot a group of young suspects who were allegedly accused of initiating the gunfire.

Pattaya, 1 May 2011 (PDN): At 11.30 a.m., Police Major Pratipat Phumalee (Inquiry Official of Pattaya Police Department) was informed by Banglamung hospital that two gunshot patients had been admitted to the emergency room.

Saithong Kapakdi, 32, and Wanchai Moonkam, 28, were shot in the left arm and the head respectively, the police reported.
The men said they were wounded at a bungalow in Soi Thepprasit 7, where their friends had invited them to.

When police arrived at the scene, they questioned Suchin Chonchama, 60, the owner of the bungalows.

Early morning on 1 May, a young man wearing a fireman uniform checked in a bungalow with another woman, the owner reported.
The man kept riding his motorbike in and out of the facility creating so much noise, Suchin continued adding that he asked the troublesome customer to leave the bungalow.

Suchin said the disturbing customer came back with five other friends and weapons including guns and a sword.
They started the gunfire at the owner, who shot them back until they eventually escaped the scene, Suchin told the officers.
The police will investigate to find the escaped suspects, while the injured men are recovering in the hospital.
