‘Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2010’ Final Showpiece Event

The final of the Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2010 contest was held on Friday night at North Pattaya’s Tiffany Theatre to great applause. The winner of the event, a 19-year-old Bangkok university student, received a check for Bt100,000, a new Honda Jazz plus the added attention that comes with being the Miss Tiffany Universe winner.

Pattaya, the 5th of May 2010 [Pattaya Daily News]: Chon-Buri Governor Mr. Sene Jitkasem opened the evening to a rapturous applause from the audience with honorary judges for the final showpiece including: Dr. Seree Wongmontha (Competition Chairman), Mr. Sutham Phantusak (Tiffany Show Managing Director), and Ms. Alisa Phanthisak (Tiffany Show vice Managing Director).

The 13th addition of the Miss Tiffany Universe beauty contest saw 28 beautiful contestants compete in a variety of events over the 4 day competition. The final showpiece was an extravaganza of sound and light shows before the 28 contestants paraded around the stage in evening gowns and cocktail dresses. The final 10 contestants were then given a random quiz question to which they were required to give an immediate answer before the audience were significantly impressed with a performance by Ruengsak Loyshusak, a famous Thai pop singer.

Following a period of deliberation by the judges the Miss Tiffany Universe 2010 winner was announced as number 26 – Miss Nalada Thamthanakhorn (Mik) [19], a 3rd year university student from Bangkok. Miss Thamthanakhorn, also the winner of the Miss Silky Sexy Skin 2010 award, was presented with the Bt100,000 prize check, a new Honda Jazz and the honorary Miss Tiffany Universe crown and ornamental Miss Tiffany statue.

1st and 2nd Runners-up, Miss Chanya Denfanapha (Nong Bank) [21] and Miss Namphet Prasopchok (Nong Dear) [21], received prizes of Bt80,000 and Bt50,000 respectively along with an honorary Runner-up sash and ornamental Miss Tiffany statue.

There were also four individual prizes presented at this years event, winners of the respective individual awards are as follows: The Media Favourite Award went to Miss Songsuda Songklittakorn (Nong Kaew) [21], The Best Dressed Award went to Miss Dutlada Iamphung (Nong May), The Friendship Beauty Queen Award went to Miss Atsajankawee Phromaksorn (Nong Piak) and the Best Complexion Award went to Miss Rinlaphat Phuk (Nong Fiet). Each of the individual award winners won Bt20,000 in prize money along with honorary sashes and Miss Tiffany ornamental statues.

The Miss Tiffany Show vice Managing Director, Ms. Alisa Phanthisak, closed this years contest by stating, “We have come to the conclusion of the 13th Miss Tiffany Universe Contest and I am delighted to announce that this years event has surpassed its predecessors in every way. Here at the Tiffany Theatre we believe that the positive presentation we present for the transgender community both in Thailand and around the world has made the population more aware and accepting of their circumstances. We would like to thank all who attended the events at this years Miss Tiffany Universe competition and we hope to see you again next year.”
